Navajo wedding basket design pin/ pendant. This is sterling silver with a copper overlay. The wedding basket is used in the Navajo wedding and holds a corn pollen paste which is used in the ceremony. You can wear this as a pin or it has a ring on the back so you can also hang it on a chain as a pendant. Stamped sterling. It is 1 1/2" diameter. Wonderful traditional design.
