Santo Domingo Native American Heshi and Tabs Statement Necklace

Large impressive Santo Domingo Pueblo necklace. Heshi, tabs and jacla make the necklace. The necklace is a mixture of natural shell and stone beads and some block colorful pieces. The turquoise, purple and amber color tabs are block. The rest are shell, jet, turquoise, serpentine and pipestone. The graduated heshi is also a mixture. The top of the necklace is 30 1/2" long. It is wrapped with cloth (squaw wrap). The tabs are 1 3/8" long. There is a serpentine rectangle bead in front. The beads strung through that make the jaclas or bead loops. The beads at the bottom of the jacla are called corn. The jaclas are 4 1/8" long. The necklace is in good condition. Thanks for looking at our store.  Please let us know if  you have questions.
