Wonderful Sterling Silver Vintage Coral Collar Necklace by Navajo F M Begay

Vintage sterling silver and coral collar necklace. The inside of the necklace is 11 5/8" long and the gap is 3 1/4" long. This is a choker at just under 15" long. The silver has a natural patina. The front is made of a top row of 29 coral 6mm stones which are set vertically. There is a row of 15 horizontal coral stones are under that. The next row is 37 vertical coral stones with a row of 11 horizontal stones under them. Sterling twisted wire rope was used between the rows. Each side of the necklace has a flower design with a stem and leaves. These contain 22 coral stones each. The front pendant is removable. It is on a hook. This pendant is 2 1/4" long x 1 5/16" wide. 18 coral stones were used in the pendant. The back is stamped F.M. Begay Navajo. The condition is good. The necklace is most unusual.
