Extraordinary Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Butterfly Pendant

Extraordinary Navajo sterling silver turquoise butterfly pendant.  The artist's hallmark (R.B. inside a bear outline) is Running Bear Trading and is stamped on the back of the piece. "925" for sterling is stamped below the hallmark. The pendant measures 2 1/2" long, including the beautiful silver bead-decorated bail, by 2 1/2" wide. The pendant features six turquoise stones cut to form a butterfly. Each stone is set in a smooth bezel with a twisted wire border. The wings are accented with flattened beads, round beads, hogan beads, and sun-ray stamped crescents.
