Heavy Sand Cast Sterling Silver and Turquoise Belt Buckle by F.L. Begay

Heavy sand cast sterling silver and turquoise belt buckle. The artist's hallmark ("F.L. Begay") is Francis L. Begay, Navajo. "Sterling" is also stamped on the back. The buckle features a turquoise stone on an oxidized background in the center of a Navajo ketoh design. The stone measures 1" tall by 1 1/2" wide. It appears to have a small crack but is securely held in the bezel. The buckle is 3 3/8" tall by 3 7/8" wide, and weighs 171 grams. It will fit a belt up to 2" wide.
