Huge Sterling Silver Green Turquoise Pendant on Bead Necklace by Stover Paul

Huge sterling silver green turquoise pendant on a silver bead necklace. The artist's hallmark  ("Made By St. Paul" etched in script on the pendant above "NAVAJO 1975") is Stover Paul. The necklace features a string of handmade beads and a large, shaped pendant cut from a single silver sheet. The pendant is 5 1/2" long by 4 11/16" wide. It showcases 7 turquoise stones encircled by half-bead borders, in a traditional wire-and-bead design. The largest stone is 42mm long by 39mm wide. The smallest is 14mm by 13mm. The bead string features handmade round, saucer, fluted, and melon beads. The silver has a beautiful patina. Laid end-to-end, the necklace is 28 1/2" long including the shepherd's hook clasp.
