Large Horse Head Sterling Silver Turquoise Overlay Pendant
Large horse head sterling silver turquoise overlay pendant. The artist's hallmark (A. Mariano) is Alonzo Mariano and is stamped on the back. "Sterling" is stamped below the hallmark. The pendant measures 3 1/8" long including the bail by 1 11/16" wide. The pendant features many styles of artistry. The striking horse head is overlay against a textured and oxidized background. Details on the horse are hand stamped as well as the geometric border. There are two repousse leaves and beads flanking the square sawtooth bezel set turquoise.
