Large Sand Cast Sterling Silver Belt Buckle Signed HBC

Large sand cast sterling silver belt buckle. The back has the artist's hallmark "HBC" and a "Sterling" stamp. Sand casting is a traditional Navajo method of making a mold in wet sand and pouring molten silver into the mold to shape jewelry. This buckle is a modified ketoh (Navajo bow guard) design.  The buckle is 2 7/8" tall by 4 1/4" wide. It will fit a belt up to 1 1/2" wide. This belt buckle is in good condition.
