Large Sand Cast Sterling Silver Isleta Cross/Dragonfly Pendant on Cord Necklace
Large sand cast sterling silver Isleta cross/dragonfly pendant on a cloth cord. The artist's hallmark is two "L"s facing opposite directions. This dragonfly symbol from the Isleta pueblo culture is also called an Isleta cross. The pendant measures 4 1/8" long by 2 1/4" wide. The bail has a 3mm opening. The pendant comes on a 32" black cloth cord. It can be retied to a shorter length if desired. It appears that one cross arm was soldered at some point, but the repair is visible only on the back and does not affect the strength of the pendant. The necklace is in good vintage condition.
