Large Turquoise Ring and Bracelet Navajo Sterling Silver Wristlet
Large turquoise ring and bracelet Navajo sterling silver wristlet. The artist's hallmark (R.B. in a bear outline) is Running Bear shop and is stamped on the bracelet and ring. The inside measurement of the bracelet is 5" with an additional 7/8" gap. The ring size is 9. The chain between the ring and bracelet measures 3 1/2". The wristlet features a four strand, contoured cuff that points toward the hand and is mounted with an oval turquoise stone measuring 1 1/8" long by 1/2" wide. The stone is decorated with alternating flat and hogan beads. The ring has a pear-shaped turquoise stone that measures 7/8" long by 1/2" wide. The ring has a four-band split shank and the stone is surrounded by alternating flat and hogan beads. This style of wristlet was called a slave bracelet in the 1970's.
