Navajo Beautifully Decorated Sterling Silver Teardrop Onyx Pendant

Navajo, beautifully decorated sterling silver, teardrop onyx pendant. The artist's hallmark (A) is Annie Chapo and is stamped on the back of the pendant. "Sterling" is stamped above the hallmark. The pendant measures 1 3/16" long, including the bail, by 5/8" wide. The onyx teardrop measures 9mm long by 7mm wide and is set in a smooth bezel surrounded by a twisted wire. The asymmetrical design is nicely balanced with a leaf and flower in the upper left and three beads and a wide wire border on the lower right. The bail has a 4mm opening.
