Navajo Black Onyx Sterling Silver Bear Paw Design Large Belt Buckle

Navajo, black onyx, sterling silver, bear paw design, belt buckle. The artist's hallmark (W.M.) is Wilbur Musket and is stamped on the back of the buckle. "Sterling" is stamped below the hallmark. The buckle measures 3" long by 3 1/2" wide. The buckle features twenty, oval, black onyx stones circling the shadowbox, bear paw design. The small stones measure 5mm long by 8mm wide, set in serrated bezels with two beads in between each stone. There is beautiful hand-stamping on the border and on the bear paw. The center, round, black onyx measures 15mm in diameter. A stunning buckle! The buckle would accommodate a 1 1/2" belt.
