Repousse oxidized silver concho belt buckle by Eugene Charley. Repoussé is a method of decorating metals in which parts of the design are raised in relief from the back by means of hammers and punches; definition and detail can then be added from the front by stamping. Buckle measures 3 1/4" wide by 2 3/4" tall. The turquoise stone measures 3/4" by 1/4". The hasp on the back of the buckle measures 1 1/2".
