Handmade Turquoise and Sterling Silver Bead Necklace by Alice Platero (Navajo)

Handmade turquoise and sterling silver bead necklace. The artist's hallmark (AP combined) is Alice Platero. This stunning necklace features two silver handmade rectangular and five handmade cylinder beads strung along large turquoise heishi, with a turquoise stone pendant hanging from the center bead. The pendant measures 3" long including the bail by 5/8" wide. The two 1 1/4"-long rectangular silver beads feature oval bezel-set turquoise stones. The turquoise heishi tapers from 22mm in diameter at the middle to approximately 13mm in diameter at the ends. The necklace measures 30 1/2" long including the silver tips and shepherd's hook clasp.
