Spectacular Large Navajo Sterling Silver Green Turquoise Naja Pendant

Spectacular, large, Navajo, sterling silver, green turquoise Naja pendant. The artist's hallmark (Mark Yazzie) is stamped on the back of the pendant. "Sterling" is stamped below the hallmark. The pendant measures 3 1/4" long, including the bail, by 1 15/16" wide. The pendant features a pear-shaped, green turquoise stone measuring 15mm long by 11mm wide, and two round green turquoise stones that measure 10mm in diameter. The stones match in color and are all set in smooth bezels. Accenting each stone is a crescent sun ray ornament. The Naja is formed with five rows of alternating twisted and square wire mounted on a silver plate. The bail also has the twisted wire in two rows around it. The silver was oxidized, then polished with a satin finish. The bail has a 12mm opening.
