Sterling silver and purple spiny oyster pendant by Navajo artist B. Shorty. The artist's hallmark (B. SHORTY) and "STERLING" are stamped on the back of the piece, and "925" is stamped on the inside of the bail. This wonderful pendant features a vibrant oval purple spiny oyster shell in a smooth bezel, surrounded by a twisted rope design, and stamped sterling silver with a scallop edge. The piece measures 2 9/16" tall, including the bail, by 1 1/4" wide, and the spiny oyster is 24mm tall by 11mm wide. The decorative bail has a 12mm opening to accommodate beads or a thick chain.
