Sterling Silver and Turquoise Barrette with Navajo Style Stampwork

Sterling silver and turquoise barrette with Navajo-style stampwork. There is no artist's hallmark on this piece. "Sterling" is stamped on the back. The design features ornate stampwork with a turquoise stone in the center. The oval stone is 8mm by 12mm. The silver barrette measures 3 1/8" wide by 1 1/16" high. The spring mechanism on the back is constructed from other metal. The barrette is in good condition.
