Sterling silver and turquoise concho pin. This oval pin is 2 7/16" wide x 1 15/16" tall. It is stamped on the back with the United Indian Traders Association Inc. hallmark and the number 17. The UITA was started in 1931 and ended in 1977. The number indicates the town or location. 17 indicates one of the Hubbell trading posts. Records are kept at the NAU Museum in Flagstaff.
