Sterling Silver Gaspeite Pendant With Embellished Border

Sterling silver gaspeite pendant with embellished border. The artist's hallmark is "SY." The back of this piece is stamped "Sterling." The pendant measures 1 15/16" long, including the bail, by 13/16" wide. The oval gaspeite stone is a vivid green with a brown matrix within it. The stone measures 20mm long by 11mm wide. Around the edges of the stone are silver embellishments, the bottom displays tiny silver beads, while the top has three larger silver beads. The sides have a pressed silver design and around the stone has a silver twist wire.
