Sterling Silver Large Charoite Pendant

Sterling silver large charoite pendant. The artist's hallmark is "B." The back of this pendant is stamped "Sterling." This large beautiful stone originates from Siberia, Russia and is named after the Chara River. This pendant is an odd shape, where the bottom isn't squarted off but comes to an angled point. Around its simplistic bezel there are siver twist-wires, silver cut edging, silver beads, and decorative beads at the end and just below the bail. The stone is a rarity, with its brilliant purple color that has a swirl of white and deep purple embedded in it as well. The pendant measures 2 3/8" long, including the bail, by 5/16" wide.
