Stunning Navajo green turquoise necklace and earring set by Fred Francis. The artist's hallmark (FRED) is stamped on the back of the necklace, and "STERLING" is stamped on the back of the necklace and earrings. The necklace measures 21" long, and the center piece is 1 1/4" wide. The chain has a lobster claw clasp, which adds some adjustability to the length. This necklace has nine beautiful teardrop-shaped green turquoise stones. Each stone is set in a smooth bezel and surrounded by a twisted rope design. There is also a silver beaded border around the entire piece with several hogan beads placed throughout. The stones on the necklace range in size from 12mm tall by 9mm wide to 23mm tall by 10mm wide. The matching post earrings measure 1 1/16" tall by 15/16" wide, with the stones measuring 17mm tall by 10mm wide. This is a fantastic earring and necklace set!!
