Stunning Petit Point Turquoise Sterling Silver Squash Blossom Necklace

Stunning petit-point turquoise sterling silver squash blossom necklace. There is no artist's hallmark on this piece. The style appears to be Zuni. The necklace features 212 turquoise stones adorning the 12 blossoms and naja. Much of the turquoise has turned a lovely teal color with age. Several stones have small cracks, but they are all secure in the bezels. The blossoms are 1 1/2" long. Each blossom sports 12 stones, including one at its tip. The intricate naja design includes both round and petit-point (teardrop) stones. The three dangle stones are 7mm long. The rest of the petit-point stones are 6mm long, and the round stones are 4mm in diameter. The naja is 3" tall by 2 1/2" wide. The necklace is strung with 8mm silver beads.
