Tufa Cast Sterling Silver Kachinas with Turquoise Bolo Tie by Philander Begay

Tufa-cast sterling silver bolo tie of kachinas with a turquoise stone. The back of the bolo has a pueblo scene. The artist's hallmark (".925 PBB") is Philander Begay, Navajo. The bolo measures 3 1/2" long by 2" wide. The domed front features a detailed scene of a sitting clown kachina being disciplined by a standing kachina. The standing kachina's open mouth is cut out to reveal the dark interior of the hollow bolo. A round 8mm turquoise stone accents the scene. The custom silver tips have tufa-cast dangles. One dangle is a hand saw; the other is a cleaver. This heavy bolo comes on an extra-thick 1/4"-diameter reinforced cord. The cord measures 51 1/2" long including the sterling silver tips and dangles.
