A thunderbird hallmark, "Sterling", and "FP" are stamped on the back by Famed Tucson, AZ silversmith Frank Patania Sr. The brooch measures 5" long by 1 7/8" wide. The pin itself on the back measures 3" long.  It weighs 29.2 grams.
