Vintage Sterling Silver Sand Cast Bracelet by F L Begay

Vintage sterling silver sand cast bracelet. The inside of the sand cast bracelet measures 5 9/16" and then there is an additional gap of 1 5/16".  The widest part is 1 1/8". It weighs 37.8 grams. Sterling F L Begay is stamped inside. The artists would form a design and pour molten silver into damp sand to make sand cast jewelry. This method was used by the Navajo in the mid 1800's.
