Vintage sterling silver sand cast pendant with turquoise. Sand cast is a method some Navajo people use to make jewelry. A mold is made in wet sand. Molten silver is poured into the mold to make a piece of jewelry. It is then cleaned and polished. This pendant is 2 3/16" tall x 15/16" wide with the bail included. The turquoise is 18 mm tall X 11 mm wide .The black cloth cord is 31" long. A very pretty turquoise was used. The necklace is in good condition. Thank you for shopping in our store.
