Vintage Teardrop-Style Sterling Silver and Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace

Vintage teardrop-style sterling silver and turquoise squash blossom necklace. There is no artist's hallmark on this piece. This style is sometimes seen in squash blossoms from the 1950s and 60s. It features turquoise stones set on an oxidized background, with abstract teardrop-shaped blossoms and a teardrop naja dangle. Stamped rays accent the silver square wire that shapes the blossoms and naja. Each side has five 1"-long blossoms with one stone each. The naja has six stones and measures 2 5/8" tall by 2 1/2" wide. The necklace's turquoise stones range in size from 7mm to 12mm long. This squash blossom is strung with 8mm beads. It is 27" long including the shepherd's hook clasp.
